Evangelism

The Evangelism Committee works together to find ways to invite people to hear the Good News. We make sure basic communication needs are met and that we share with the local communities the Good News.

Education

Bethlehem provides opportunities for all of us to grow. We offer an education hour for all age groups, 3 through adult, and Vacation Bible School. Christian education involves teaching, administrative skills, creative and computer skills and support and prayers.

Alter Guild

Altar Guild members prepare the church for worship service. We care for the linens and robes, set out the wine and bread for communion, change the altar paraments when needed, put up banners, and prepare the candles for all worship services during the year, as well as baptisms and funerals.

Members serve on a monthly rotation basis, working in two-person teams.

Worship & Music

The goal of this committee is to make the worship experience meaningful for all our worshipers. Hymn and liturgical settings are chosen for each season of the church. The committee also schedules greeters, ushers and communion assistants for all our services throughout the year.

Social Ministry

Members of this committee coordinate efforts that serve Meals on Wheels (Oct.), Lutheran Campus Ministry (Sept.-Feb.) and Bethlehem's Feed My Sheep Food Pantry. Our primary on-going responsibility throughout the year is the Food Pantry.
